How Domainers are Doing Right By Caitlyn Jenner
Today, Caitlyn Jenner revealed herself to the world. And, the world, loved it. Her Twitter account got more than 1,000,000 followers in four hours.
Team Caitlyn failed to register CaitlynJenner.com or any of the other domain extensions. But, some domainers, including me, did it for her.
Domainer, Jamie Zoch, bought CaitlynJenner.com, redirected it to her Twitter page, and offered to give her the domain for free. Jamie’s thought was to protect the domain for Ms. Jenner. I had the same thought, but Jamie beat me by an hour, which for this type of registration is being beat by a mile and then some. I shared the the Vanity Fair cover on my personal Facebook page and simply added #TeamCaitlyn. Then on Twitter saw that the phrase was trending. I registered TeamCaitlyn.com and tweeted how I’d be honored to gift Ms. Jenner the name.
.@Caitlyn_Jenner we've redirected http://t.co/RXLa7t3Mgz to ur Twitter page. It's yours if you want it.

Let’s hope those who registered CaitlynJenner.net, CaitlynJenner.org and CaitlynJenner.co (among many others), will also do the right thing.
