Should The World’s Tallest Clown Have His Own Website?

As a new convert / viewer of American Horror Story: Freak Show (Season 4), I’ve spent a lot of time remembering why clowns creep me out.  I’ll admit that I’ve been viewing the world lately through the prism of American Horror Story.  And, that is how you are now reading about BuckNolan.com (which you can buy at Godaddy).Charles Logan Buxton (stage name:  Buck Nolan) was the world’s tallest clown, towering over everyone at 7’4″.   Even though Buck died in 2004, I haven’t found a taller clown.

While there aren’t many pictures of ole Buck out there, this one makes me wish he was a character on season 4 of American Horror Story.

If Buck and his buddies from Clown Alley piled out of car in a dream I was having, I’d wake up in a cold sweat.  If Buck was alive today, I believe he would have been cast in Season 4.  And, Buck could have done it.  He had some acting chops.  Even had a bit part in the 1993 (previously unknown to me) Wilder Napalm, staring Arliss Howard, Debra Winger (Arliss and Debra married three years after shooting the movie), Dennis Quaid (as a clown),  and Jim Varney .  Maybe the trailer will spark your memory:

For you Star Wars fans, it’s reported that Buck Nolan turned down the role of Darth Vader because he was under contact to do another movie at the time.  Obviously, timing wasn’t one of Buck’s strong suits.

But, let’s get back to the clown part.  He was a 7’4″ clown.  The guy needs a website dedicated to him.  If you are not freaked out by clowns and have a thing for extremely tall guys with baggy gangsta pants, BuckNolan.com can be yours today.
